We’ve had Wonton soup before or at least wontons but I can promess you that Jo-Ann’s Wonton soup is the simpliest and the best.
Time: 1h (because it takes a little while to fold in the wontons)
500g minced pork
2 eggs
1 big red onions chopped finely
5cm ginger finely chopped
1/4tbp salt
pinch of ground pepper
1.5 liter homemade chicken broth
wonton wrapper
chopped spring onions
RECIPE
- Mix minced pork, eggs,onion, ginger, salt, and pepper
- Scoop mix meat and place in the wonton wrapper then seal. see video here
- Repeat procedure until meat is finished
- Boil the chicken broth
- When broth is boiling put in the wontons, cook 5 minutes.
- Serves immediately wontons and broth together in a bowl sprinkled with chopped spring onion
